About Me

About the Northwoods:

“Northwoods” is another name for the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Many refer to this area as “Northwoods Country.”  This place really is a writer’s paradise, I’m lucky to have found this place so early in my life.

About my Writing Journey:

Writing is my life. I started when I was twelve and haven’t stopped since! I write some romances for adults, and poetry. Mostly my passion lies in writing stories for kids.

I’ve been in published in both print magazines as well as ezines.

My story, “Another Chance“, was my first publication!

My article Reflections of a Homeschooled Girl was published in one print homeschool magazine, and several online homeschooling ezines.

I’ve also had my poems read on local radio stations and sold in local retail stores.

I self-published a book of poetry, “Follow Your Heart.”

July 26, 2007 — My short story, “HomeRun Malone and His Lucky Bat,” was accepted for publication by Boys’ Quest.
